Sparkling Peppertree Shiraz

The ability to blend many vintages of Peppertree Vineyard Shiraz provides us with great consistency of quality and flavour in our Peppertree Sparkling Shiraz. Made in the traditional method, only 500 cases of this celebratory bubbles are available each year.

Tasting Note

Bright ruby in the glass with a fine bead on the tongue that shows lifts of youthful sour cherry with earthly undertones leading in to a lingering plummy richness.

Vineyard Region

Fruit for this wine is grown in our mature, dry grown vineyard that yields just one tonne per acre. No artificial fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides were used and the vineyard has had regular biodynamic sprays since 2005.


With a secondary ferment in the bottle, aged on lees for 18 months, with a dosage of eight-year-old fortified Shiraz creates a sparkling wine with a youthful lingering effervescence complemented by a leathery structure expressing the aged components.
