White Hutt. Clare Valley

Located on a special block north of Clare in the area n as White Hut is a small parcel of old grenache vines, we aren’t sure how old. No irrigation and low yielding the fruit produced of these gnarly old vines has incredible depth of flavour and balance of spice, fruit and acid combined. There was a late start to the growing season, due to cool and wet weather, the wettest year since 2000, with 1000mm of rain. This led to a later start for vintage. The vines were in great condition with strong canopies, fruit was of a high quality across the board
